He is Chief Executive Officer of North Capital Partners, a firm dedicated to providing business and financial strategies for emerging entertainment and technology companies.

Marino is co-founder of Slate Entertainment Group and CEO of North Hollywood Films. Marino’s entertainment industry experience includes the production of television and motion pictures. He has helped with the financing of both Hollywood and Toronto based production companies, and with the negotiation of foreign sales and distribution deals. Prior to forming North Hollywood, Marino served as founder and CEO of a publicly traded company where his primary focus was the development and industry adoption of a leading-edge highly disruptive technology.

Cody is co-founder of Slate Entertainment Group. Cody began his entertainment career in 2007 when he moved from Toronto to Los Angeles. After having the opportunity to meet and work with many of Hollywood’s leading producers, he returned to Toronto in 2012 to apply his knowledge. In 2013, Cody produced the highly regarded action drama Tapped Out, which was released by Lionsgate Entertainment in 2014. He also produced and starred in Gridlocked, an award winning action comedy which was sold to Netflix for global distribution in 2016. By combining blockchain technology with Hollywood film making, Cody’s vision is to bring fairness and transparency to content creators around the world.

Ryuhei is a Los Angeles based director of over twelve motion pictures including critically acclaimed The Midnight Meat Train, starring Bradley Cooper and released by Lionsgate Entertainment in 2009. In addition to directing feature films, Ryuhei directed Japanese rock super star Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi’s live concert documentary, Sakurajima. Additionally, he directed all the scenes for the worldwide mega hit video game, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. He is currently working on numerous film and television projects both in the US and Asia, starting with the action film The Doorman starring Katie Holmes and Jean Reno.

She was also responsible for overseeing the company’s activities at the Toronto International Film Festival including media relations, logistics and corporate events. Her expertise includes brand development through special events, publicity campaigns, talent management, content creation and strategic partnerships.

XYZ Films has executives, employees and consultants based in Los Angeles, Toronto, Melbourne and Hong Kong. With 15 years of experience working in the independent film business, Nate has been involved in the production and financing of over 75 feature films and the licensing/distribution of over 250 feature films, many of which have been acquired by Netflix. Prior to starting XYZ, Nate was an executive at The Collective where he focused on structured film finance deals and international sales.

Jose has been involved in the blockchain space for over 7 years. He has provided technical and marketing solutions for different brands in an attempt to bring the technology to the mainstream. Most recently, he was Chief Marketing Officer for Wagerr, a company using distributed blockchain technology to execute sports betting contracts. Jose's experience and expertise in the industry has made for an easy transition to the Slate Entertainment Group. As VP Operations, he will be able to combine his blockchain expertise with his passion for media to help introduce the Slate currency and technology to the entertainment industry.

For the last 20 years he has been an innovator involved in the security of confidential information for the some of the highest profile legal cases for the worlds largest corporations, law firms and government agencies. The software he developed at iConect, based on it's intuitive interface, high security protocols and its ability to manage billions of records, has been the product of choice for cases including the BP Oil-spill and the JFK Archive. Recently iCONECT was awarded "50 Most Valuable Brands" by Silicon Review and was included in KMWorld's "Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management".

Leading a team of developers, he combined the advances in computer technology with television innovation to deliver a multi-channel broadcast platform for Digital out-of-Home (DOOH). Robert is also the lead inventor of OPTiFi’s field trials and holds the patent for all wireless media measurement including presence detection of all wireless frequencies. Any media station, static or digital, can be measured using the OPTiFi technology. He also an award-winning leader in broadcast content production in 2D and 3D trans media.

Kevin has been a senior executive in the entertainment and media industry for over 30 years. He is former Chairman of the Ontario Media Development Corporation, a government agency supporting the Province’s creative economy. He served as Chief Operating Officer for Can West Global, a media company whose radio, television broadcasting and publishing assets were purchased by Shaw Media in 2010. Prior to his work with Can West, Kevin served as Chief Operating Officer for Rogers Communications, Canada’s largest provider of cellular services. He is the past President of YTV, and in 2012 was responsible for securing the license for the operation of Sirius satellite radio in Canada.

He is also a founding partner of Arkham House Entertainment, a production and licensing company that controls the film and television rights to the works of H.P.
