Phil created the Abele Group in 2017 and has spent the past few months as the firm’s Business Development Officer and Managing Partner. Prior to this exciting new venture he was a member of the institutional sales team within the foreign exchange and local markets business at Citibank N.A. As a senior salesperson based in New York, Phil delivered bespoke FX and Rates solutions to leading regional and international banks and broker dealers. He joined UBS Investment Bank in 2006 covering U.S.–based hedge funds and asset managers. Phil transitioned to UBS Singapore in early 2008 as a member of the macro sales team. Phil then joined Citibank Singapore in 2011 as a Director on Citibank’s macro sales team. Phil completed his undergraduate studies in American history and Civil Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Gavin Costin is a technology professional with a wide range of experience across multiple domains in Finance including Trading and Risk - including credit risk and market risk for tier-1 banks in the UK and Wall St. Gavin has served at Banks and Financial institutions including DBS, London Stock Exchange, Barclays Capital and Merrill Lynch as an Architect, Development Manager and Technical Lead. While in these roles Gavin designed and helped to develop systems for trading Commodities, FX and Rates derivatives as well as risk management, credit risk analysis through machine learning and regulatory reporting on Big Data platforms. Since 2013 Gavin has followed his strong interest in Blockchain technology to work with several startups including the first Bitcoin exchange in Singapore and Asia’s leading Crypto-Currency exchange which recently raised over $100M in funding.

Lucio Idone is a quant and a risk manager. He has served as a quantitative analyst and risk manager at Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays Wealth and HSBC where has developed and validated rating and pricing models for credit, market and counterparty risk for Internal Model Methods, AIRB, IAS39 and IFRS9. He is also a PhD candidate at the UK Centre for Doctoral training in Financial Computing and Analytics which is taught by University College London, Imperial College, London School of Economics and the London Business School. His research is focused on machine learning, algorithmic trading, stochastic calculus, and portfolio theory.

Fifteen years later, the DC PR powerhouse enjoys an extensive background in public relations and influencer marketing with a focus on consumer and lifestyle brands including Sassoon Salon North America, Girl Scout Cookies, Mamont Vodka, OLIKA, Taste of DC and Washington Project of the Arts. Brittanie is the founder of BCENE, which has roots in Washington D.C. The firm was born in 2017 as a boutique brand and public relations consultancy. The bicoastal collective has since grown with a sister office in Southern California, an extensive local, regional & national portfolio and extended services across business development and experiential marketing.

Trained as an engineer, Tim began his career at Salomon Brothers and JPMorgan, building some of their very first program trading and other high capacity trading and derivatives research systems on the Unix platform.
