Tobias Pfütze studied Business Administration in Germany and China (Tuebingen University, Peking University and Tongji University) and soon after he graduated he started his first FinTech company in the field of mobile payments.
That first company, Payday, incorporated an identical product vision in comparison to AliPay and WeChat Pay. The team managed to raise equity crowd-funding twice and delivered a proof of concept.
Tobias capacity to lead and influence positively the people around him lead him to be a delegate at the 2016/2017 G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance and to invited as a mentor China Accelerator.
Tobias is a visionairy and a doer that designed the whole Traxia ecosystem and worked on the product concept together with Florian Zeim. In more detail, he is the person at LiqEase who discovered inefficiencies of current securitization, factoring, collateralization, etc and how to tap into those business opportunities and create transparency in international trade finance.
Florian has a Masters degree in management. For the last 10 years, he has been building Mediaman, a digital product experience agency with offices in China, Germany and the US. As a managing director of this agency he was able to gain and grow big accounts like Mercedes-Benz, Porche, AB InBev and Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Florian has a passion for user experience, innovation and web design. At LiqEase, he is the person who understands how the interface should look like, what the user wants to see and how to create a user funnel that is frictionless. Florian knows how to create a digital product that convert users into advocates.
As a holder of a Master’s Degree in Computer Science awarded by Epitech Paris and Stockholms Universitet, Jean-Michel is an enthusiastic tech-entrepreneur who loves to use new technologies and approaches to solve modern problems our world faces. He worked on multiple innovative IT projects such as a blood stock management platform for hospitals at InnovHealth, Big data mobile app at Accor and IoT (Internet of Things) moneybox at Yellow Innovation at YBC Agency.
At LiqEase he masterminds the blockchain/smart contract development (Ethereum, Solidity, Truffle, NodeJS) and his responsible for the software related project management of Traxia.
Bruno holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management that was given to him by NOVA Business School in Lisbon. Bruno started his international career in a publicly listed industrial group where he held the positions of financial controller, finance director and supply chain director. After seven years in the cement world, he decided to initiate his own entrepreneurial path by starting his own projects in Shanghai, China. The first one was a company that combined hastag printing with social media marketing. Then, he founded and managed the APAC office of Sales Engine Online which gave him experience in performance advertising and user acquisition campaigns. Being a blockchain and crypto enthusiast, he co-founded in 2017 The Blockchain Marketing Agency where he served as the digital strategist.
Bruno’s responsibilities at LiqEase are to simplify the message across all channels and grow the user base which will ultimately lead to a higher brand value.
Sebastian is a seasoned sales and project manager with an MBA from INSEEC, Paris and Master in Finance by MGSM, Sydney. Over the years, Sebastien has been developing a strong network with importers and distributors in Asia especially in the FMCG sector. Having worked in Australia, Hong Kong and Shanghai his experience with cross-border operations is a big asset for LiqEase since we are targeting Asian SMEs that have recurrent trade deals with multinationals in Europe, US and vice-versa.
Sebastian speaks Chinese and knows the culture. Therefore, he is our bridge to understand what the SME customer wants and what are its pain points.
Armin has a background in Film and was among others responsible to manage a team that is broadcasting the world championship to people in Germany via public television. After those early days, he started mediaman together with his partners around 20 years ago. The digital agency is headquartered in Germany and has now around 130 employees globally.
Jerome holds a Master in Business Management from University of Frankfurt and is fluent in Chinese. He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group and moved to Shanghai to work in business development and investment advisory. He is now the Managing Director of Ginmon China, a German boutique investment firm being based on an automatic trading strategy.

Miguel Solana holds a Master in International Economics from Stanford University and a Master in Management, Information Systems and Digital innovation from London School of Economics and Political Science. Miguel has built a 10+ years career in banking with multiple managing positions at Santander bank being Head of New Initiatives in technology and digital banking for China the last. Prior to that, he worked at Telefónica and The World Bank.

He negotiated & brokered contracts with leading banking institutions, mutual & private equity funds focused on equities, real estate, agribusiness, clean energy, mining and infrastructure projects globally and holds an MBA program with Manchester Business School.
William Bao Bean is a General Partner at SOSV and the Managing Director of Chinaccelerator, China’s first startup accelerator based in Shanghai. A prominent practitioner, innovator and thought leader on tech investing in Asia, he founded MOX, SOSV’s Mobile-Only Accelerator, in partnership with GMobi, the largest mobile platform for Southest Asia and India. In addition to his work at SOSV, William is an active angel investor with 39 investments between 2004 and 2014.
Darren Camas is a FinTech entrepreneur and consultant with more than 6 years in blockchain technology. He was an early adopter in the blockchain, bitcoin, and cryptocurrency space starting in 2011. His teams have pioneered emerging market FinTech business models and blockchain application R&D such as cryptographic proof of solvency, zero knowledge proofs, and trade finance. Zennon Kapron is the Director of KapronAsia, one of Asia’s leading financial technology research and consulting firms. Prior to Kapronasia, Zennon was the Asia Pacific Financial Industry Manager and Global Banking Industry Manager for Intel. At Intel, he helped position and sell Intel-based architecture to financial services firms globally. Before Intel, Zennon worked at Citi at a number of different technology management roles culminating in his role at CIO for Citigroup Portugal.

Nowadays he acts as Director at the BDO Americas China Desk (ACD), the International Services at BDO in China, and is further the Head of the BDO Chile-China Country Desk.
