Passionate about machine learning, and artificial intelligence, Dan is a huge proponent of ambient intelligence and how it will complement our lives.
Dan holds degrees in Electrical Engineering (autonomous robotics), and Computational Chemistry. Previous work has been with the National Center for Physical Acoustics, Make Magazine, e.Ventures, in addition to launching Baqqer, Asteria, Techendo, Pule, and others.
Katherine cut her teeth as hustler at a young age. She managed the Southwest market for kate spade new york, as the Visual Design Agent. After growing a strong narrative to penetrate local markets for ksny, she was hired for LVMH to open their first luxury timepiece location in Dallas Texas. Katherine was the youngest female LVMH had ever hired, she tripled their business in two months. Then, she got the California itch and move to the bay area to learn the art of charcuterie. She worked as a butcher and then as a chef for two years. Now she has come full circle to tell the story of Synapse, as CMO.??Katherine believes in a fair and just world, where Decentralized platforms may flourish. She is a part of the crypto community and is delighted to be working as a part of the Synapse team!
Travis is a former poker player who moved to the Bay Area to pursue Software Engineering. He’s been a Rails + Web Engineer for several years, working on a variety of ventures. His primary technical interests right now are blockchains and how their advent is going to impact society. Travis tinkers with creativity tools and mentors Solidity in his spare time.
